Arzu Rahimov - Chief of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General.

Arzu Yusif oglu Rahimov was born on October 1, 1964 in the city of Nakhchivan. In 1986 he graduated from Novosibirsk Higher Military Political Troop School.

In 1986-1989 he served in various positions in the former USSR Armed Forces.

In 1992-2004 he was promoted from senior officer to Chief of the Military Unit of the Border Troops of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

From 2004 to 2006 he worked as First Deputy Head of the Border Troops Headquarters.

In 2006, he was appointed First Deputy Chief of the State Border Service - Chief of the Border Troops Headquarters. In 2004, he was awarded the rank of Major-General.

During 2007-2012 he was the head of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On March 17, 2010, according to the Order No. 813 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded the highest rank of the second rank state migration service advisor.

He is fluent in Azerbaijan and Russian.

During his service period  he was awarded with more than 20 state awards and medals.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 13, 2012, he was appointed as the Chief of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 1, 2012, he was enrolled in the military service with the rank of Lieutenant-General.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 2, 2021, he was awarded the rank of Colonel-General.

Married, has two children.
